The weekend in pictures
Laundry...always lots of laundry
Sunday morning...Halle had just woke up and was cuddling on the couch with her blankie
Sunday afternoon hike...
Halle and Mommy hiking...
Sunday night, I baked cookies to send to my brother who is stationed in Kuwait...
Apparently it's NOT a good idea to vaccum seal freshly baked cookies...I frantically tried to hit 'cancel' when I saw what was happening...but it was too late...I wanted to cry when I saw the result, Dereck just laugh and said he would eat them...with a spoon.

Boat Renovation
Weekend #1: Carpet and seats removed
Weekend #1: Rear floor that was previously replaced
Weekend #1: After cutting the fiberglass floor out I found nothing but rotten wood.
More rotten wood. The plywood floor was pretty much sawdust.
Weekend #1: After the flooring was removed.
Weekend #1: After flooring was removed
Weekend #2: Buff and Molly came down to help with the renovation. We first removed the top portion of the boat.
Weekend #2: Then we removed the engine.
Weekend #2: That's as high as the engine hoist would hoist. We had to push the boat partly off the trailer then lift the bow to clear the engine.
Weekend #2: Buff constructed a cart to wheel the engine around the shop.
Weekend #2: The stringers that you see in the picture are very rotten.
Weekend #3: I used a 4.5 inch grinder to cut the fiberglass from around the stringers and engine mount. The pic shows the end result.
Weekend #3: The transom was also rotten so it had to be removed. I removed the 3/4 inch plywood from the inside of the transom and left the outer shell.
Weekend #3: A close-up of the transom and engine mounts.
Weekend #3: What was left of the stringers and transom.
Weekend #3: The transom.

3 Months Old!!!!
Halle has her Daddy's expressions...
Modeling the lady bug outfit from Grandpa and Grandma Wilson....The outfit came with darling little socks but they aren't staying on because Halle has such long skinny feet, she still wears newborn/preemie socks that are norrow enough but not hardly long enough!

Happy Easter!
Halle's 1st Easter
Halle in her Easter dress! This darling dress sent to Halle from her great Uncle Stewart and Aunt Lu Anne
Just hanging out as a family on Easter....good thing there is no Easter Egg hunts this year, it is freezing here!
Halle sat in her swing and watched as I cooked dinner. Ham, Au gratin potatoes, green beans and salad...
I was so glad we were not having anybody over for dinner, our gas oven in this rental is terrible! It burns the edges of everthing before the middle is ever cooked! Thankfully it still tasted good after removing the charred edges.
